Talent, Fame & Truthiness

Even if you are not quite sure why or how someone became a celebrity, it does seem to make sense that a lot of celebrities are receiving high scores for closely matching the Golden Ratio.

Kanye West’s new lady is mostly famous for being famous – and scores very high – an 8.2.

By now you understand the Golden Beauty Meter app measures how closely a face matches the “golden” ratio (ideal arrangement of facial features) – not personality, talent etc… and that is not to knock Kim Kardashian….

But just for fun – lets see how the obviously very talented and People’s “Most Beautiful Person” Beyonce scores.

Wow – a 9.0!  A new baby, People’s Most Beautiful #1 and a 9.0 from the Golden Beauty Meter.  Beyonce is on a roll!  

And when you think of the Kardashians, Beyonce, Kanye and JayZ – who comes immediately to mind?  That’s right – Stephen Colbert.

Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen – the QB and the Secret’s Model

In anticipation of the launch of the Golden Beauty Meter iPhone app – this is a daily look at how closely famous faces match the Golden Ratio.

This was really the 2nd power couple I had in mind in the Brangelina Ratings Post  – Quarterback Tom Brady  and Super Model Gisele Bundchen.  Brady has won Superbowls, MVP’s, plays a highly visible position in America’s most popular sport – and he makes tons of money doing it.  But take all that away and let’s see how closely his face matches science’s ideal proportions.

Brady scores a little more than a TD and 2 pt conversion with an 8.3.  No Mona Lisa – but a pretty close match.

Gisele – famous for her physique, smile and moves – gets the highest female rating yet (not counting the Mona Lisa) with a 9.5!  And she is rich.

Is Mona Lisa Our Golden Girl?

Many experts believe our boy Leo used the Golden Ratio when he painted his girl Mona. We even talked about it on our Golden Ratio page. So we not only wanted to test this theory, but we wanted to see if the Golden Beauty Meter accurately measured the Golden Ratio. After putting Mona’s face to the test we finally had our answer and she was unbelievably very close to the Golden Ratio of 1.61, so close that she scored a 10 out of 10!

Power Couple Numero Dos….

In anticipation of the launch of the Golden Beauty Meter iPhone app – this is a daily look at how closely famous faces match the Golden Ratio.

On to our 2nd “super” couple – Ed O’Neill and Sofia Vergara.  I have just been informed this is not an actual couple – they just play one on “Modern Family”.  That makes more sense.

Ed comes in strong with an 8.1.  He has made several characters famous, even if several are “rough around the edges” – so it makes sense he has a face we (humans) enjoy looking at.

How did Ed’s pretend wife do?

The beautiful Sofia Vergara only scored a 2.7 on the Golden Beauty Meter app scale.  Surprising?  Yes.  There must be something else about her so many find so attractive?  With what seems to be a zest for life being near the top.

In anticipation of the launch of the Golden Beauty Meter iPhone app we will be posting golden scores from famous faces.

The Golden Beauty Meter doesn’t randomly give you a number. It precisely calculates how close your face is to the golden ratio found in nature – which we think makes this the most accurate and fun-to-use beauty app in the App Store.

Apple lets us give away ad-free versions as part of the launch – so 1st 25 folks who sign up for the release alert gets a free version.

We are going to kick things off with two famous “beautiful” couples.
